"What does self defense law say?" "I was just defending myself, am I going to jail?"

They were just some of the legal questions I get about self defense and I am not legal help. You need to know a lawyer that can help you. I'm just here to get you aware of it.

Combat is true self defense. There is no escape or hiding, but only attacking back to save your own life. If there is another choice, take it and know that was not a combat situation.

Attacking back and not fighting back. This is not competition. There is no back and forth attacks. Someone ambushes you and tries to kill you for no reason. If you're lucky you find a moment to attack back and get out. That's all.

No warnings

No formal uniforms

No rules

Simply trying to stop that attack by attacking back enough to stop them to get away. If you do anything more before the attack or after, you are at fault.

Is it Illegal to even know Killer Moves?

The martial arts industry doesn't want you to know this.

Even taking a martial arts class or being instructed in self defense can make you seem like a danger to the public. Courts add this with the fact you just assaulted another person. That mean you physically did something against them, may it be even a simple push. That "push" could have injured or killed that person. Get the help you need before its too late

Beyond mixed martial arts and straight into combat. Lives are lost here and hopefully it's not yours or someone you love. Still you have to justify what happened.

Don't pull any punches here and run when you can. Remember self defence laws don't cover you when you beat someone to death. There is a fine line and don't cross it. Get some legal help and take care of yourself out there on the street and in court.
